Why we created Family Medical Organizer
Family Medical Organizer was inspired by my own caregiving experience with my mom.
After repeated hospital visits, I found myself carrying a binder filled with medication lists, notes, paperwork, appointment details, and important reminders. It helped, but every time a sibling stepped in to help, I had to explain everything again: what mattered, what changed, what questions to ask, and what needed follow-up.
I kept thinking there had to be a better way to organize everything families need during caregiving.
That experience became the foundation for Family Medical Organizer.
Caregivers need more than scattered notes
In real life, caregiving rarely happens in one neat place.
Information lives in hospital folders, sticky notes, text threads, patient portals, calendars, and paper binders. That can make an already stressful situation feel even harder, especially when more than one person is involved in helping care for a loved one.
